Privacy Policy

Who we are
DigsFact, Inc., 8 The Green, Ste B, Dover, DE 19901, USA. Contact: info@digsfact.com.
Two different situations
Most privacy policies address one audience. This one addresses two, because the people whose information we handle are usually not our customers.
- You called or texted a business that uses DigsFact. The business owns the phone line and the relationship with you. We operate the agent on their behalf and pass what you tell us to them.
- You are a business using the agent, or a visitor to this website. We deal with you directly.
If you called or texted a line using the agent
What we handle
- Your phone number, and the time of the call and whether it was answered.
- The text messages you exchange with the agent, and anything you tell it: your name, the address of a property, what you need, when you want a call back.
- Photos you send. They are stored so the business can see them, and are shown to the business through links that stop working after seven days.
- Voicemail you leave, including the recording and a written transcription of it, so the agent can respond to what you said. If the business uses live voicemail, the words are also shown to the business as you speak, so they can choose to pick up.
What we do with it
One thing: reply to you on behalf of the business you called, and give that business a summary so a person can call you back. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to advertise to you, and we do not build a profile of you across different businesses.
Who else sees it
- The business you called. They receive the summary and the conversation. From that point they handle your information under their own practices, not ours.
- Twilio carries the calls and messages and produces voicemail transcriptions.
- Anthropic processes the conversation so the agent can understand and reply. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models.
- Amazon Web Services hosts the system and stores the data, in the United States.
We also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Conversations and what the agent captured: about 180 days, then deleted automatically.
- Activity records such as "a call was missed at this time": about 400 days, then deleted automatically.
- Photo links expire after seven days, though the photo itself remains available to the business until the conversation record is deleted.
The business you called may keep its own copy for longer. Ask them.
Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any message and the agent will not text you again from that line. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.
Your choices
Email info@digsfact.com from the number or address in question, or tell us the phone number you used, and we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to object to how it is used; we honour those requests regardless of where you live. We will ask enough to confirm the request is really yours, and nothing more.
If you are a business using the agent
We hold your business name, the phone numbers you ask us to cover, the numbers we notify, your contact details, and records of the leads the agent captured for you. We use them to run the service, bill you, and send you the weekly summary. In privacy law terms you are the controller of your callers' information and we are your processor, acting on your instructions.
Texts we send you
When you sign up and tick the box agreeing to texts, DigsFact texts the mobile number you give us your lead alerts, setup help and notices about your account. People you add to your alerts get the same texts once they reply YES. Message frequency varies with how many calls you miss. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or email info@digsfact.com. Reply STOP to any of our texts and we will stop texting that phone; your email alerts carry on. Reply START to turn texts back on.
We do not share your mobile number, or your agreement to receive texts, with anyone for their marketing or promotional purposes.
The Avsar app
Avsar is our app for businesses using the agent, on iPhone and Android. When you sign in it uses the phone number or email you sign in with, and it stores a notification token for your phone (plus, on iPhone, a token for the lock-screen live voicemail card) so we can send you lead alerts and live voicemail. It shows your business's leads and conversations, which it reads from our servers. The app has no ads, no advertising identifier, and no analytics or tracking tools. Signing out removes your phone from your alerts. To have your sign-in, phone tokens or whole account deleted, see Delete your data or email info@digsfact.com.
Demo lines and signing up
The numbers published on this site are demonstrations. Conversations on them may be reviewed by us to improve the agent, and short excerpts may be used as examples in marketing with identifying details removed. Please do not send real customer information, account numbers or anything sensitive to a demo line. When you sign up, your card details go directly to our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your card number. If you start signing up but do not finish, we may send you one text reminder with a link to finish, and the number we held for you is released after 24 hours.
This website
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies for analytics or marketing. The site loads a typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. If you email us, we keep the email.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people who operate the service, and credentials are held in a managed secrets store rather than in code. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and the business you called.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle caller information, we will tell our customers before it takes effect.
